over the hill price: US$24.99 base game, DLCs and bundle

over the hill price is US$24.99 for the base game, with a US$9.99 soundtrack DLC, a US$9.99 Supporter Pack and a US$37.99 bundle confirmed on August 24, 2026.

over the hill costs US$24.99 on Steam, and that number is official. Funselektor Labs published pricing on August 24, 2026, a date confirmed independently by Game8 and by the Steam news feed. The base game, the standalone original soundtrack and the Supporter Pack are each priced individually, and the three of them together have their own bundle price. Any page still telling you the retail price is TBA is working from pre-announcement data.

For a game spanning two launch regions, four-player co-op and a vehicle roster expanding from three toward twenty, that is a low headline number. A launch discount is also confirmed to exist, but Funselektor has not published its percentage or its duration.

Everything in that table came from the same announcement, so the relative pricing is internally consistent. Buying only the base game is enough to play the whole release, because the game has no microtransactions and no in-game currency to spend money on. The soundtrack and the Supporter Pack are the two optional extras, and neither is required for completion.

What is inside the US$9.99 Supporter Pack

The Supporter Pack is a cosmetic and convenience bundle rather than gameplay content. Its contents are cosmetics, a name tag, a unique camping site, printable maps and wallpapers. None of those five items unlock vehicles, trails or regions, and none of them changes the driving model.

The printable maps are worth singling out because they are easy to misread as a region pack. They are wallpapers or printables of the map, not an additional playable area. The launch map is Canada and Algeria regardless of whether you buy the Supporter Pack.

The US$37.99 bundle arithmetic

The bundle price is straightforward value maths. The three components add up to more than the US$37.99 bundle, so the bundle takes money off the combined total. There is no bundle discount percentage to infer, because the saving is already baked into a published figure rather than framed as a promotion.

The more uncertain number on that side of the release is the launch discount. It is confirmed, which means there will be a lower price than US$24.99 for some window, but the percentage and the duration are both 待确认. Planning a purchase around the discount means waiting for the Steam page to show the actual figure.

Why third-party listings show $99.99

Some listings still circulate figures that predate the announcement, and they are now wrong rather than merely unofficial. gg.deals shows $99.99 for the PC version, which is roughly four times the confirmed retail price. cdkeyprices quotes a Hungarian forint band of HUF 12,447.55 to 14,642.85, a region it presents as the $40–50 range. Neither is a Funselektor figure, and neither survives contact with the August 24 pricing.

That is the practical reason to treat reseller and price-comparison numbers with care on this title. Key retailers set prices by estimating demand, and an inflated estimate produces a number that never reaches the store. The authoritative source is the Steam store page at store.steampowered.com/app/2929250/over_the_hill/, which now carries the real figure.

Regional pricing will not be a simple conversion

Buying outside the United States means the regional figure will not be a straight conversion of $24.99. The forint band quoted by cdkeyprices sits well above what a direct conversion of $24.99 would produce, which is the clearest available signal that regional pricing is set independently rather than derived mechanically.

Alongside that, the launch itself is region-gated in an unusual way. The confirmed launch regions are Canada and Algeria, with more regions planned later alongside free updates and paid DLC. Regional pricing for every market outside those two is therefore 待确认, and the US figure is the only one that is actually published.

Console, physical editions and other stores

Console pricing is entirely 待确认. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are planned, and most sources put them in 2027, though an official GamesPress release says 2026. No price or exact date is attached to any of the three, and no physical Xbox edition has been announced at all.

Physical editions do exist for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, published by Serenity Forge in two formats: a Collector's Edition and a Premium Standard Edition. Those preorders were expected to open around the console release date announcement rather than at the PC launch, so there is no preorder window open now.

On PC, Steam is the reference point but not the only route. PCGamingWiki tracks Green Man Gaming and the Humble Store among the key retailers for the title, and the Microsoft Store carries product ID 9pmdqwhs0dc2 alongside Xbox Play Anywhere. Launch-day pricing at each of those outlets is 待确认.

The store page's own tagline is the right frame for the price too: this is a driving game, not a racing game. Comparisons against premium racer pricing were never the correct reference, which is why the third-party numbers looked so far off.

What remains 待确认

The list of unknown pricing is short now. The launch discount percentage and duration are unpublished, as is every regional price outside Canada and Algeria. Console prices, physical edition prices and the specific dates for the 2027 hardware wave are all unannounced.

macOS is a separate 待确认 item rather than a pricing one. No native Linux version is planned, and the developers intend the game to run through Proton on Steam Deck, so the eventual Mac route depends on that. Whether any post-launch paid DLC beyond the soundtrack and Supporter Pack will be priced is also unannounced.

What to do before October 14

Waiting is no longer necessary for the price itself. The Steam page carries US$24.99 for the base game, US$9.99 for each extra and US$37.99 for the bundle as of August 24, 2026, and that is the figure your budget should be built on. Add the optional extras only if you want the soundtrack or the cosmetics.

The only reason to hold off is the launch discount. Since a discount is confirmed and its size is not, the Steam page on or before October 14, 2026 is where the real entry price for your region will appear. Ignore every third-party listing that still shows $99.99 or a converted forint band.
